Book of Songs

The earliest collection of poems in China. It is not composed by one person at one time and one place, collecting ballad works and temple movements from the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty to the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period for 500 years, a total of 305 articles, divided into three categories: wind, elegance and song, which is the ancestor of the collection of Chinese literature and represents the literature of the north at that time. At the beginning of the Han Dynasty, there were Qi, Lu, Han, and Mao four families, and after the end of the Han Dynasty, the poems of Qi, Lu, and Han gradually declined, but Mao's poems have prevailed to this day.
